Getting cheap calling cards online?

   The link on that website you posted is a website full of calling cards. The question is which calling card are you getting? Make sure you check the other charges from those calling cards. Let me get a sample calling card from that site.

   Super Saver – .7 c/min rate, 3 mins increment, 99c weekly maintenance fee

   Let’s say you just made a 4 minute call. That 4 minute call is actually charged 6 minutes. Effectively plus 50 percent from the actual call. Plus whether you use it or not, you will lose 99c weekly on maintenance fees. That Super Saver turns out costly if you add the minutes you lose on increments and the money you lose from maintenance fees.

   So to answer your question I would be very careful with low per minute rate calling cards because they jacking up the rates from their high increments and maintenance fees.

   I would suggest to get an online prepaid long distance service from the likes of Onesuite.com with 1 minute increment and no maintenance fees so you’ll get the actual rate and not having a guesstimate on your call cost.

   Hi SDK. Keep in mind that just because a company offers a discount, does not mean you are getting a good deal. You really want a company that stands behind its phone cards by offering a real Guarantee.

   The only company I have ever seen clearly state that they offer a 100% Guarantee is a phone card company called SpeedyPin. You will have to check the rates for yourself, but it’s really easy to do that.
