Question by CLEVE: Where to buy international phone cards?
This girl I know is traveling to Spain and Greece for the rest of the summer and I want to buy her some phone cards so that she can call home (USA). Just wondering, what’s the best place to find them?

Most phone cards that you buy in stores will work for international calls, but they’re expensive. If you decide to buy them at Wal-Mart or wherever, be sure you read the back of the sleeve for the rates because it will usually take 4-9 minutes (US calling minutes) for every one minute of international calling. That easily comes out to 20 cents or more per minute for international calls.

I’ve seen websites where you can get them mush cheaper. One is listed below, but I can’t remember right now what the others were. I’ll post more here later if I can find them.

Question by help: well international calls show up on a non detailed phone bill using a phone card?
am using a phone card ( the one that gives you a local number to call and it has a pin number to it and you dial the number afterward s) and i have a att cell phone> so basically i want to know if those calls well show up on the phone bill when i don’t have detailed billing? I called and they told me only international dialed and revived calls well show but not sure if this call with the phone card apply s to it ?

No, I have an account with www.local011.com and they do the same thing they give you a local number and you can call international for cheap vs. like att and the other, they do not show any thing except the local number you are calling.

Like from he UK there are these websites that offer international calls for domestic rates. You dial the access number from a phone and they connect you to your international number. They charge it to your phone bill so u don’t need a credit card or calling card pin number. But it’s at a domestic rate rather than dialing direct from ur fone and paying international. I dunno any of them in the US. Can someone tell mi.

SIP
or access number>>>

VoIP is my provider, and you can call Africa, I had seen many customers one the forum from US to Africa! you might check it out!

there are also pretty cheap….I have the access number on speed dial, then all I have to do is dial 2 numbers…each friend as there own 2 digit number…very easy…
